I have 8 of them at home. They feature a dimmer that smoothly slides up and down, from completely off to full brightness, as shown in the pictures. I eventually set them all to 25%, as 100% wasn't necessary for me. When you wave your hand in front of them, the light gradually gets brighter or dimmer, depending on the ambient light. It doesn't turn on or off abruptly. They are a bit expensive, but in my opinion, they are well worth it. They are super beautiful, work even better, and do their job perfectly, allowing me to move around safely at night.
I only bought one pack to start (2 lights), but I'm now ordering 4 more packs. They're perfect! I'm installing them in all the common areas and hallways of the house. My kids love them too.
